Akshay Kumar breaks world record for most selfies taken in three minutes

 Akshay Kumar, the Indian actor and superstar, has broken the world record for the most selfies taken in three minutes. He managed to take 184 selfies, beating the previous record of 168 selfies held by James Smith from the UK. This event took place in Mumbai, where over 240 fans gathered to take selfies with their idol.

Akshay wore a bright orange jumpsuit and stood in the middle of two rows that his fans had formed, posing for as many selfies as possible. His fans alternately approached the sides, quickly going back into the frame before exiting. Akshay took 209 pictures during the three minutes, but some were disqualified due to blurred faces. Despite 25 discounted selfies, Akshay easily broke the record with his smart strategy.

In an interview with GWR's official assistant, Akshay mentioned that he would like to go on to break some fitness records in the future. He's especially eager to get a push-up record, but he's also up for something more extreme, like hanging from a helicopter.

Akshay attempted this record to promote his upcoming film, Selfie, which is a Hindi-language remake of the Malayalam comedy-drama Driving License. Directed by Raj Mehta, the film also stars Emraan Hashmi, Diana Penty, and Nushrat Bharucha in lead roles.

Akshay's achievement is impressive, and it's great to see how he acknowledges his fans' support and is using his success to promote his upcoming film.
